The pronoun "Mang"

I love it when people call me 'mang', because it reminds me of some college friends. I think its a more enlightened pronoun than "dude" or "man", possibly used most by educated bros?  At the very least it is a funnier pronoun than more common generic guy pronouns.

Banana Bread topped with

...whipped cream cheese.  Banana bread is sweet, the cream cheese has a hint of sour flavor: the soft cakey combo is so goooooood.

Windy, sunny days near the coast

...seeing whitecaps catch the sun and roll over.  I love how the whitecaps punctuate the kinetic texture of the sea.

Cheap breakfast

...at a diner.  Preferably with old people and all-night party-goers in attendance.

The smell of jet fuel

...the best smell at the airport.

Delivery Trucks

...because I always think about the relationship & disconnect between the delivery of stuff, from the production of it.  A fish delivery truck is packed with fish, and the driver goes to stores and delivers the fish, but where did the fish come from?  Alaska?  Asia?  Who caught it?  What type of ship?

Also delivery trucks often have logos and paint schemes to represent the product they're delivering, and that is also interesting.  I love the train of thought that starts with a delivery truck.

Signs

I love the detail of some, how they are lit, old ones, new ones, painted ones...all kinds! 

Rainy mornings in Seattle

...especially the transition from seeing the rain from the light of streetlamps, to the fuzzy scenery of the daytime filtered through the fuzzy lens of light rain.
